Singing in Circles

community-led, community-Fed

"I love how I feel when we sing together"

Like to sing?  Curious about singing with others? No experience necessary, all voices welcome. No two song circles are alike!

Community song circles are unique 'singing bowls' that offer a supportive and fun way to learn, share, and best of all, sing it all out!

Each song is led and taught by singing and repeating, line by line, until we sing it through together.

Learn simple melodies and harmonies through 'call and response', 'rounds', 'zipper' and other styles of songs focused on nature and heart-centred themes.

We're singing all summer at the Milky Way Garden

The Milky Way Garden is owned by the Parkdale Neighbourhood Land Trust (PNLT) led and supported by local organizations and community members.   In addition to growing vegetables over the years, activities in the Milky Way garden also include community events, workshops and seasonal gatherings. These activities support the goals of arts, culture, food sovereignty, climate action, righting relations and benefits connected to being in outdoor spaces for physical and mental health.
